The latest player update delivers advanced streaming options for Chrome users
Thanks to some fantastic customer feedback, our developers have been working on improving the Chrome user experience, released on all platforms today.
The new Chrome feature allows users to choose a specific bitrate for streaming content. The player currently defaults to “auto”, a setting that automatically adjusts bitrates based on user network performance to deliver the highest quality playback for individual internet connections.
Now users have more granular control over their viewing preferences and can adjust kbps speed at will by clicking ‘auto’ on the video player and selecting their preference.
